Client: Furious FX
Fusion CIS provided simulation expertise to Furious FX to help them get more realistic fluid motions in the snowglobes that played such a central role in the film.
In the shots where the snowglobes are hero elements, Furious wanted more than just the noisy particle motions that Maya generated. They wanted realistic, turbulent-type motions and that's where Fusion helped. By injecting turbulence in a controllable way, the artists at Furious could get the rich swirly motions they needed to really sell this effect.
