Working with Motion Theory in Santa Monica, Fusion CI Studios handled the creation of water effects for the Paul Coelho HP Hands commercial.
Motion Theory handled all other aspects of the piece and provided Maya scene files with motion-tracked camera and the actor's motions.
Fusion Studios added 3D water elements as well as the motions of nearly 1000 letters interacting with the water and actor's hands using rigid body and fluid dynamics. This number of dynamically interacting objects had never previously been achieved with RealFlow at the time, but were handled smoothly using a unique workflow developed by Fusion.
