Fusion Studios and Motion Theory teamed up for this short-timeline music video project, with Fusion creating vigorous splashes off the whimsical fish creature created by Motion Theory. To quickly create a large quantity of water in the splashes, Fusion created a new splash method that allowed the water to be added only on the surface of and in the immediate vicinity of the fish, but with a natural-looking distribution. Custom force-fields driven by Python scripts then take over to set the water in motion for the start of the shots. Turnaround times on splash elements were just a couple of hours. No actual fish were injured in the making of this video!
